Richert Games is a family owned gaming company located in Cleveland, Ohio.

Richert Games was founded by the Richert brothers who have always had a passion for developing new games to build and play since they were children. They took their dream to be entrepreneurs in combination with their niche for creating and playing unique games to life. The whole structure including all game pieces compacts down into an 18”x18”x6” box allowing it to be easily stored and transported. Hexahole uses strategy and skill in all game play along with fundamental skills such as adding and hand eye coordination to encompass all age groups.

Hexahole

General Game Play/Rules

Hexahole is a bag tossing game that is played with 2 to 6 players so no one has to sit out. Hexahole is very versatile allowing multiple games to be played on its structure. The whole structure including all game pieces compacts down into an 18”x18”x6” box allowing it to be easily stored and transported. Hexahole uses strategy and skill in all game play along with fundamental skills such as adding and hand eye coordination to encompass all age groups.​


Hexahole Original Rules:

Elimination style. Each player is represented by a colored board with corresponding bean bags (4 regular and 1 bonus bag) and every player starts at 21 points. Players take turns throwing 1 bean bag at their own board or an opponent’s board to score or deduct points.

  • Throwing order remains the same throughout play having players throw 1 bean bag per turn

  • Move to the corresponding board you are throwing at

    • If throwing at red board stand at red board marker

  • Players are constantly moving around between boards depending which player’s board the player is aiming their bean bag at

    • Throw the bean bag at your own board to score (on the board= +1point; in the hole= +3points)

    • Throw bean bag at opponent’s board to deduct points (on the board=-1point; in the hole =-3 points)

  • Once all players have thrown their regular bean bags, the bonus bag round begins. For this round you use the 1 specially marked bean bag.Bean bags are thrown in same order as regular play

    • Bonus bag is thrown from your own board (if you are red, throw from red board marker)

    • Players are throwing bonus bag at center board to score points to their own score (on the center board=+1 point; in the center hole=+5 points)

    • Bonus round gives the player a chance to stay in the game longer if everyone is trying to eliminate them, similar to a rebuttal shot.

  • Once bonus bag round is done, all bags are gathered and another regular round of play continues until only one player has points left. The game ends when there is one player left standing with a score greater than 0.

  • Use a combination of skill and strategy to play both offensively or defensively to be the last player standing.


Hexahole #21:

Players take turns throwing 1 bag at a time attempting to land the bag on their own hexagon board. Bags can land in the hole for 3 points or on the board for 1 point. Bonus bag may only be used to shoot at the center (black) hexagon in order to receive bonus points to their score, 1 point for landing on the board and 5 points in the hole.

First Player to reach 21 points wins.

  • If players reach 21 in the same bag round, highest scoring bonus bag wins. Repeat if necessary.

  • If you land your bean bag on another player’s board they are awarded the corresponding points. Any regular bags that land on the center (black) board do not count. Any bag touching the ground does not count. Bag must be >50% on a board to be awarded points.

    • 1 point on board

    • 3 points in hole

  • The specially marked bonus bag is only awarded points when landed on or in the center (black) board.

    • 1 point on board

    • 5 points in hole
